“Ao dai” Fashion Show at Hue Festival

(Cinet)- The Ao dai fashion show, one of the major events at the ongoing biennial Hue Festival, was held in Hue on April 30.

The “Ao dai” Fashion Show, which gathers sevent well – known designers of the country: Sy Hoang, Lien Huong, Viet Hung, Le Thanh Phuong, Duc Hung, Thu Ngan An and Khanh Shuyna.
This year’s show witnessed more enthusiasm from audiences, compared with the 2014 show, thanks in part to the improved design of the traditional Vietnamese costumes on display, as well as the stage setting.
The stage lighting created an ambiance that provided a comfortable setting for audiences to enjoy the beauty of each Ao dai sample.
Local residents offered greater praise of this year’s show, as they watched the modeling of Ao dai by local school girls, and performances by native Hue singers.
