Not only a unique event contributing to the sustainable development of Ninh Binh's tourism by responsibly linking heritage preservation and exploitation, the Trang An Festival also plays a crucial role in promoting the global outstanding values of geology, geomorphology, aesthetics and culture of the Trang An Landscape Complex, the only mixed World Heritage Site in Vietnam and Southeast Asia – to domestic and international visitors.
In 1999, My Son (Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam Province) was recognised by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site, opening a new chapter in the journey to preserve and promote the heritage’s value. My Son has been revitalised through restoration projects with support from UNESCO and international partners, gradually reclaiming its original beauty.
Throughout April and May, this grand cultural programme will bring stirring artistic experiences to audiences nationwide, igniting a spirit of pride, solidarity, and remembrance.
A live entertainment show entitled “Hoi An show – Gratitude”, which is considered an unprecedented tourism product, will be held on January 30 in the ancient city of Hoi An.
