The MOCST established Project on “ Building Da Lat City – Vietnam Flower Festival City” with a purpose of analyzing some feasible aspects and conditions for some best measures as well as some priorities; turning Da Lat into a tourism city with some expresses and a connection with Vietnam Flower Festival.
About a scope: The Project aims at introducing Da Lat flower picture and Vietnam flower into outside as a foundation of tourism development through flower business. Bases on building some main programs and projects, some items should be built such as Program on planning and managing some plans in the province; Project on maintaining and restoring some tangible and intangible cultural values for Festival; Program on building some new constructions for Festival; Labourer Development Program,etc.
The Project focuses on two periods:
Period 1 (2011 - 2015): building some contents as follows: Building and developing a city to become the first class urban in the Province and tending to open some urban spaces; inspecting some countryside to develop flower industry in Da Nang and other neighboring areas; building more 08 flower markets; fulfilling some scenarios and festival program in order to meet some requirements of people and tourists. Also, the Project encourages people to build some forms of arts and culture to attract to some tourists.
Period 2 ( 2015-2020): appealing for investing some flower planning areas, especially in business and production in a large scope; fulfilling some systems of transportation and infrastructure; solving environment approved by the environment; fulfilling some cultural infrastructures and service to implement in 20112015 and fulfilling some labourer development programs.
