Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Awarding athletes golden medals at the 24th Sea Games.

(Cinet)- April 13th, at Hanoi national Sports Training Center; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in cooperation with Vietnam young talent support Fund and Vietnam Television Station held an awarding ceremony for excellent athletes who won golden medals at the 24th Sea Games.

Attending the ceremony has Hung Vinh Ai – Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Vuong Bich Thang – Vice General Head Department of Gyms and Sports; Hoang Vinh Giang – Deputy Chairman of Vietnam Olympic Committee and representative of Vietnam young talent support Fund.

The 24^th Sea Games has marked a new breakthrough for Vietnam Sports with 64 golden medals, 58 silver medals and 82 bronze medals. The Vietnam Sports ranked the third, of which competitive sports such as Kung fu, Wrestling, Shooting…go on to maintain their strengths and exceed the set number of medals before joining the 24^th Sea Games. Particularly, the 24^th Sea Games, Vietnam athletics affirmed its position in the Asian bloc with 8 golden medals and broke the Southeast Asian record.
