MCST: many activities have been promoted and developed the industry

(Cinet)- Pursuant to the Guidance of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, agencies in coordination with units under the Ministry have organized a great number of typical activities.

As for Culture: The Ministry organized a launching Ceremony of fine arts and photography composition to support the campaign “Study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh and mark the 1000^th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi; held a training course on project implementation for basic staffs at locals enjoyed a lot from the project “Building some villages, mountain villages and cultural highland villages at several areas under difficult circumstances” in Phu Tho, a Seminar on developing advertising Law; and assisted in appraising the Decision Draft of the Minister stipulating functions, responsibilities, authorities and organizing framework of almost all the Units under the Ministry. The document guides Ministries, relevant locals and industries to carry out the 2008 family schedule.

In terms of Gyms and Sports: Submitting to the Government for approving the local policy on hosting the final round of the 6^th national gyms and sports Festival in 2010; organizing many activities to mark the 62^nd anniversary of the Vietnam Sports Day; publishing films & literatures, and then printing them into disks on the preparatory work of the Indoor Games 3 in Vietnam; completing, amending certain Decrees and Circulars related to nutritious standard for athletes and coaches; and being up to the current period, Vietnam Sports has had 13 excellent athletes who are selected to attend the 2008 Bac Kinh Olympic at some sports such as Taekwondo, Tennis, Wushu and Apparatus work.

For Tourism: Reporting gained results at the investment promotion Conference at Greece on the use of professional staff and the 2008 plans; handing over equipment of EU projects for schools and giving certificates for trainees who attended an EU project training course in Hue; assisting Da Nang tourist promotion Center in propagandizing an international shooting-firework competition event.

The Ministry has also drafted the statement of Prime Minister on projections and projects submitted to the Government; regulating and amending the draft (6^th) 02 Decree of the Government guiding the implementation of family violence prevention and treatment; preparing for holding a preliminary seminar on the organization work of the national festival in June 2008, CONSAL Executive Committee Conference in 2008, Khmer ethnic cultural-sports and tourist festival day in Can Tho….
