(CInet)- March 8th, at the National Library, the Youth Union of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a launching ceremony of the 2008 Youth Month and voluntary Saturday “for beloved Ha Long”
Attending the ceremony had Deputy Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai; Le Thi Phuong, Secretary of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and Pham The Khang, Director of the National Library
Making a speech at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Huynh Vinh Ai appealed to every member of the Youth Union of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for popularizing and voting for Ha Long Bay – a picturesque recognized twice by UNESCO as the World Natural Heritage has become the newly World Natural Wonder. At the same time, the Deputy Minister also affirmed, voting for Ha Long Bay is of very significance aimed at honoring Ha Long Bay’s beauties and values and contributing partly to maintaining the leading position of Ha Long Bay in the list of geographical names in the world held by the New open World for voting.
After the launching ceremony, almost all members of the Youth Union of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism participated in voting for Ha Long Bay through a computer system located at the National Library.
