Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Le Tien Tho works in Hoa Binh province

(Cinet)- To prepare an comprehensively final report of the 2007 activities; put forward the 2008 plans of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and make arrangements for merging three departments, 16th November 2007, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Le Tien Tho visited and worked with Department of Culture and Information, Department of Sports and Gymnastics and Department of Trade and Tourism in Hoa Binh.

Heads of Departments made brief reports on the 2007 activities’ results as well as the 2008 year’s plans and orientations, at the same time proposed or recommended some existing problems or unsolved difficulties in each sector such as investing budgets in the sectors’ activities, increasing workforce in the fields of state administration, implementing disbursement for several untimely projects and works, having preferential policies for staffs e.g.

Delivering his speech at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism recorded the Departments’ achieved results in 2007, acquired statements, recommendations and ideas. Hoa Binh is a cultural province imbued with the national character, and it has many beautiful landscape, diversified ecological environment, plentiful kinds of national sports e.g. which are the strengths and potentials to promote activities of culture, sports and tourism in the province.

Sectors should affirm their own strengths on culture, sports and gymnastics and tourism to create interesting events that will attract much interest of the State and the Party, levels and ministries as well as domestic and international tourists. More importantly, Department of Culture and Information, Department of Sports and Gymnastics and Department of Trade and Tourism in close coordination with Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will hold the cultural festival day of the Muong people at the mid-month of December 2007.

Deputy Minister suggested sectors assess limited and positive sides seriously. Departments should assist the province in making projections on the development of culture, sports and tourism and building professional capability for staffs to keep with the current integration trend.
