Plan to teach intangible traditional culture for Bo Y ethnic group in Lao Cai

(Cinet)- Plan No.927/KH-BVHTTDL on March 22, 2016 of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism relates to open a teaching clas about intangible traditional culture for Bo Y ethnic groups in Lao Cai this year.

Accordingly, the Plan aims to implement some approaches and policies of the Party and the State about culture in the ethnic minority groups according to Resolution No.33-NQ/TW on June 09, 2014 of the nighth session of the the Party about building and developing Vietnamese culture and people in sustainable development; Decision No.1270/QĐ-TTg on July 27, 2011 of the Prime Minister for Project “Maintaining and developing culture of the ethnic groups up to 2020” and Decision No.3508/QĐ-BVHTTDL on October 10, 2013 of Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism about maintaining and supporting to develop ehthnic culture. Opening the teaching class of intangible culture for Bo Y ethnic groups in Lao Cai encourages to enhance culture in the province.
Content: Opening 01 teaching class of folk songs of Bo Y ethnic group in Lao Cai province.
Participants: estimated about 70-100 students.
Time: on 3 days, in late April, 2016.
Approach to organize: method of interview, method of participating overview; maintenance and development in community: by some high-aged artisans; method of maintenance in real life: Turning songs into labouring activity, environment and context of life.
Organizing a teaching class of folk song in Bo Y ethnic group is an essential activity to restore and maintain traditional culture of the ethnic group.
