Vietnam – Japan: Promoting cooperation in Culture, Sports and Tourism

(Cinet)- In the morning of May 4^th 2016, at the Headquarter of Ministry of culture, sport and tourism, Deputy Minister Vuong Duy Bien had met and worked with Mr. Hase Hiroshi, Minster of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan. On behalf of Minstry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, Deputy Minister Vuong Duy Bien expressed gratitude to Mr. Hase Hiroshi and Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology of Japan had support Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism in the previous period, also he had highlighted that the comprehensive strategic relations between Vietnam – Japan, the cooperation between two nations are developing positively in many aspects, especially in culture and sports.
In the meeting, Deputy Minister recommended that two nations continue increasing the cooperation between two countries in culture, art and sport aspects; The hope to receive more support from Japanese Government and Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology on training football team or karatedo team. Minister Hase Hiroshi thanked Deputy Minister had welcomed the group, Vietnamese government and Ministry of Culture, Sport, and Tourism had cared and supported Japan, especially in the last earthquake event. Minister recommended that Vietnam continue support Japan in registering heritage site to become World heritage; cooperate in protecting the author rights. Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien was invited to Japan to participate in World conference on sport in Tokyo in October 2016.
