Enhancing Viet Nam and Japan relationship in new height

(Cinet) – On May 09, in Ha Noi, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien had a working day with Viet Nam - Japan Special Friendship Ambassador Sugi Ryotaro.
 
The Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien and ambassador Sugi Ryotaro afffirmed the exchange relationship between Viet Nam and Japan as a foundation to promote more bilaterial relation in the up-comine time.
Known as Viet Nam-Japan Special Friendship Ambassador, Mr. Sugi Ryotaro expected to develop  Vietnam and Japan’s relation in new height.

At the greeting day, Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien highly appreciated cares of the ambassador to Viet Nam’s land and people in the past time and expressed his activities of culture, people’s exchange between two countries as essential contribution on friendship relation and Viet Nam - Japan cooperation.

Also, Minister  Nguyen Ngoc Thien hoped that Mr.Sugi Ryotaro continued to work with some ministries, agencies and relevant sectors to enhance exchange culture, sports and tourism in the furture.
Sugi Ryotaro was appointed by the Vietnamese Government as Viet Nam-Japan Special Friendship Ambassador on May 22, 2007, becoming the first foreigner to be nominated to the post.
