(Cinet)- February 29th, 2008, the announcement ceremony for establishing the Party Committee of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was held at the headquarter of the Ministry

Attending the ceremony has Commissioner of the Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, Hoang Xuan Cu; Hoang Tuan Anh, Commissioner of the Central Committee, Secretary of Civil Affairs Committee, Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; other members, including Commissioner of the Party Committee under three old agencies: Ministry of Culture and Information, Committee of Gyms and Sports and Tourism Organization; Secretary of the Party Cell in the whole Party Committee.

According to guidance of the Secretariat and the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, the Party Committee of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism are merged from three Party Committees at three old agencies. The Executive Board of the new Party Committee with 27 comrades has been assigned; the Standing Committee and Inspection Commission have 9 and 27 comrades respectively and other staffs. Secretary of the Party Committee is Nguyen Danh Thai, Commissioner of the Civil Affairs Committee, Deputy Minister of the Standing Committee of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and 4 Vice Secretary.

The Standing Committee reported a general Summary on the 2007 Party work of the old Party Committees, the 2008 orientations of the new Party Committee. Hoang Tuan Anh and Hoang Xuan Cu made their speeches related to guidelines while other comrades shared their ideas on contents and works needed to be done in 2008 and until 2010 (term is up).

At the ceremony, the Organizing Board also awarded many certificates of merit for collectives, excellent individuals in the 2007 Party work and Campaign Medal “ for the cause of public relations” for some party members who have several achievements.
