(Cinet)- This afternoon, 25th February 2008, in Hanoi, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched a voting campaign for Ha Long Bay as the world natural wonder. Attending the campaign has representatives from Leadership of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Party Committee, Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Leaders of Ministries.

On an occasion of organizing New open world, nominating Ha Long Bay (Vietnam) into the selected list of 7 world natural wonders is not only a great honor & pride but also a chance to promote and introduce Vietnam’s land and people images with other countries in the world.

Ha Long Bay possesses all the values on geology, ecology, aesthetic, culture and history. A Ha Long is a gigantic masterpiece. Honestly, Ha Long which deserves to be protected and honored is a perfectly beautiful and unique made by nature. Furthermore, Ha Long is also a solid basis for making and developing ecotourism products and cultural tourism.

Vietnam Cultural Heritage is a precious property of Vietnamese ethnic groups and a component of human being Cultural Heritage. Preserving, maintaining and promoting cultural heritage values are not only operation of the state authorities but also liability of social organizations and the whole Vietnamese people.

Attending a vote for Ha Long as the world natural wonder is the responsibility of the entire Vietnamese citizens in general and of cadres, public servants, officials, pupils and students under Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in particular…This is of great significance, contributing to honoring beauty & values of Ha Long Bay and help Ha Long Bay win the highest ranking in the list of the world natural wonders held by New open world for a vote.

We, each Vietnamese citizen, do jointly vote for Ha Long Bay as the world natural wonder because this is Vietnamese nation’s pride at present and in the future.
