(Cinet)- Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh in co-ordination with Departments, Offices and Ministry Office visited and worked with the Vietnam Film Institute and the National Cinema Center.
At the working session with the Vietnam Film Institute
After each Unit has reported its managerial and operational situations and every Department & Office has made a speech, Minister Hoang Anh Tuan strongly praises the positive and serious working spirit of leads, staffs, and public servants of the Institute. Simultaneously, in the upcoming years, leaders, staffs, and public servants of the Vietnam Film Institute should further strengthen their working spirit such as overcoming difficulties, promoting creative dynamism, carrying out the maintenance work, collecting, researching precious film documentation from various sources; and develop Vietnam Films to keep pace with those in the region and world, contributing positively to developing the Vietnam Film Industry; intensify fire control work to ensure social security; and improve the quality and efficiency of professional work and service activities of the Vietnam Film Institute to enhance the physical and spiritual life for staffs, public servants and laborers.
The Ministry also directs the Vietnam Film Institute in coordination with Planning and Finance Department to carry out the Projection on building the Institute’s archive area in Ha Tay. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has agreed to plan a basic reconstruction Project of the Vietnam Film Institute at 7 Phan Ke Binh – Ho Chi Minh City during the 2009-2010 periods. This project established by Planning and Finance Department is submitted to the Ministry.
At the working session with the National Film Center
The Minister orders Leaders, staffs, party members, and public servants of the National Film Center should pay much attention to overcoming existing problems in the last few years; strengthening internal solidarity and obeying democratic regulations at grassroots level well; promoting the Party’s leadership and mass organizations’ positive contributions.
The Minister says the National Film Center is installed thrilling film-presenting System with plastic film network agreed by the Ministry. Planning and Finance Department in coordination with Cinema Department makes plans submitted to Leaders of the Ministry for approval.
In terms of the 2nd phase National Film Center Project, the Ministry suggests the investor conducting its obligations and responsibilities properly; and implementing the advice work in line with technical and technological orders. The National Film Center need send to Planning and Finance Department for appraisal as early as possible and then submitted to Leaders for approval. As for the Center’s recommendation on upgrading available film rooms, the Ministry will give its own ideas in June 2008 after receiving a result of implementing the 2nd phase National Film Center Project.
With reference to supplementing staff for traditional art exhibition Room, the Center should have a specific discussion with staff organization Department which then submitted to the Minister for approval
