MCST has adopted many measures on training human resources for Tourism in line with the social demands

(Cinet) - Deputy Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Chien Thang said: “To implement Tourism’s major goals, in the following years, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in close co-ordination with Ministry of Education and Training, Ministries and other relevant sectors will have conducted seven basic solutions:

- Strengthening the state management on tourist training: Orienting exactly and timely and building, organizing the implementation of lawful documents on tourist training; proposing such mechanisms and training management policies as nourishing, behaving talents and using the efficiency of labor.

- Standardizing tourist human resources to meet the practical demands in the nation and comply with the international standards contributes greatly to creating a favorable condition for global integration on labor in the tourist industry.

- Developing a basic network of tourist training reasonably among training levels and training vocations among regions

- Enhancing training capability and nourishing tourist personnel

- Intensifying training scientific and technological research; and Establishing and operating electronic database on tourist personnel

- Strengthening tourist training links among the State, the School and Business people

- Creating a favorable environment for tourist training; and promoting the community tourist education

Introducing three recommendations as follows:

- Suggesting Prime Minister approving a human resource development program until 2015 and 2020 vision.

- Suggesting Prime Minister and Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Planning and Investment and Ministry of Finance agreeing to consider the issuance of the state budget to implement seven-mentioned preferential solutions.

- Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Planning and Investment and Ministry of Finance in co-ordinance with Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism facilitate a projection submitted to Prime Minister to allow tourist training centers to be enjoyed preferential mechanisms on tax; land for school construction; expenses for training service under the specific characteristics of human resources training in the tourist industry.
