(Cinet)- The Contest aims at orienting aesthetic education for Vietnamese young people, contributing greatly to honoring Vietnamese women; and simultaneously choosing the most excellent representative from many Vietnamese beautiful people to join the Miss World.
As agreed by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Tien Phong newspaper goes on to holding the 2008 Miss Vietnam Contest and the final round of this year’s Miss Vietnam Contest will be taken place at the end of August in Hoi An city. This year, rules applied to the national-level Beauty Contest are closer. Beautiful women having cosmetic surgery or changing gender aren’t allowed to participate in winning the prize.
On March 19th, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said Department of Performing Arts in co-ordination with Legal Department has been assigned to hold a meeting to evaluate the 2-year implementation of the beauty contest organization rules in the following month.
This significant activity aims at highly appreciating the organization work of the Beauty Contest more professionally and aesthetically.
