​Activities to celebrate National Day in Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

Under the theme of Celebrating National Day, from August 30 to September 30, a wide range cultural and artistic activities will take place in Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi).

These events aim at celebrating the 74th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2019) and honoring and promoting culture and customs of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
The program also contributes to preserve special cultural values ​​and strengthening exchanges between ethnic groups; as well as attract tourists during the holiday.
The month long program attracts the participation of about 300 people representing 15 ethnic groups, along with artists and students.
The highlight of these activities is a mountainous market, featuring local products, cuisines and traditional culture, from Meo Vac district, the northern mountainous Ha Giang province.
Besides, daily activities of 13 ethnic communities, experiental travel programs, folk games and spirital events also will be featured.
