MOCST allows organizing contest 'Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 contest'

(Cinet)- Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just granted permission to Hoan Vu Joint Stock Company (Unicorp) to organise the Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 contest (according to Decision No. 883 /QD-BVHTTDL  dated  March  26, 2015).
Accordingly, the competition will take place from April 2, 2015 to August 8, 2015. The qualifying round will be organised from June 11 to 20 in Ha Noi and HCM City, while the semi-final round will be held from July 6 to 10 in Nha Trang City. The final round of the national contest will be held in Nha Trang from July 25 to August 8.
The final round will take place at the 7500-seat Diamond Bay Theatre, built for the 2008 Miss Universe contest and considered to be the largest such theatre in Southeast Asia.
Hoan Vu Joint Stock Company has responsibility: Issuance of Decision on establishment, operation regulation of the Organizing Committee and the Jury Board  for  contest within 10 working days from the date of this Decision; Within 03 working days from the end of the round semifinal, send a report to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism results and all copies of contestants in the final round; Scheme for the competition and the regulations of relevant legislation, ect.
Miss Universe Vietnam is a beauty contest held in Vietnam, aiming to not only honor Vietnamese women’s charming, intelligent, clever and energetic beauty but also select the country's representative to take part in Miss Universe Pageant.
The Miss Universe Vietnam contest was first organised in 2009, in which Nguyen Thuy Lam won the crown and represented Viet Nam at the international Miss Universe Contest held in Nha Trang in the same year. She was among the top 15 finalists at the event.
