2016 national “Tuong” and folk opera competition to open

(Cinet)- The 2016 National Professional Tuong (classical drama) and Folk Opera Competition will be organized on August, 2016 in Da Nang city.

Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has promulgated Decision No.2483/QĐ-BVHTTDL about organizing the 2016 national professional “Tuong” and folk opera competition in Da Nang city.

In detail, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism entrusts Arts Performing Department in association with Viet Nam Stage Artists’ Association, Da Nang city Department of Culture and Sports and relevant agencies organize the the 2016 national professional “Tuong” and folk opera competition in Da Nang city.

Expense is extracted from 2016 budget of Arts Performing Department including some awards of the Jury Council, sound, light and relevant expenses.

The competition provides an opportunity to evaluate the artistic quality of professional Tuong and Folk Opera groups around the country as well as discover and foster young acting talent.

Some artists have a chance to meet, exchange experiences of arts. Art sectors should focus on investing some performing programs in high quality, meeting people’s demand of art nowadays.
