A group of traditional music and performing artists left Ho Chi Minh City on February 25 for a performance tour in the United Arab Emirates at the invitation of the Sharjah University .
The programme will take place from Feb. 27-28, including a lecture on “The national spirit and sound of Viet Nam” by Prof. Dr. musician Nguyen Thuyet Phong and performances by People’s Artist Bach Tuyet, and Meritorious artists Thanh Ngoan and Khuong Cuong.
About 20 paintings about Viet Nam by painters Bui Cong Khanh, Ton Nu Tam Hao and others will be showed on the occasion.
