On July 14, 2016, President of Colombia Hoan Juan Manuel Santos hosted the greeting ceremony and the dialogue with vice-president and some official members of the delegations.
Representatives of Viet Nam met and exchanged with vice-president Germán Vargas Lleras and vice-president Nidia Marcela Osorio. Some bilaterial activities between Viet nam and Colombia have been promoted.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Dang Thi Bich Lien had a dialogue with Minister of Culture of Colombia Mariana Garcés Córdoba about some exchanging activities of culture and arts between two countries. The dialogue discussed about language training, literature, music, arts, fine arts, cinema, reading culture, heritage maintenance. Closing the dialogue, two sides signed “the cultural exchange program between Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Viet Nam and Ministry of Culture of Colomiba in 2017-2019 periods.
