A press briefing was held on February 26 by the Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee and the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Service Company to announce the organisation of the International Parachuting Festival 2008 in the south central coastal city of Nha Trang.
The festival will run from March 1-7 after trial jumps was conducted successfully by parachutists on February 25 and the weather began warming up.
The event aims to create a new product for the Vietnamese tourism sector and Khanh Hoa in particular.
This is the first time such a festival will take place in Nha Trang which has a beautiful landscape and suitable conditions for this sport, part of the Sea Festival 2009.
