(Cinet)- The centre covers an areas of 5.500 square metres including: ground, ecological garden, 2 picture galleries and a 100 - square - metre workshop with the ancient house architecture of the Red River Delta (wooden house covering by hook-tile), a two – floor guest house of 440 square metres of floor. The total investment is 2,5 billions dong collected by the family of craftsman Nguyen Dang Che and the cooperation of local authority and functional branches.
The centre is supposed to open in early of March displaying 180 kinds of Dong Ho paintings, 1,000 moulds (many of them are more than 200 years old) which has been collected by the family of craftsman Nguyen Dang Che since 1970. Besides the centre, craftsman Nguen Dang Che is publishing a 200 - page book introducing the 180 Dong Ho paintings in both English and Vietnamese. These activities contribute positively in restoring, promoting and introducing the traditional folk paintings of Kinh Bac to the world.
