“Russian Books” to be exhibited

The National Library of Vietnam on March 17 will host a Russian book exhibition organised by the Russian Culture and Science Centre in Hanoi.

The above exhibition is part of a diversified programme held by the centre in 2008. This year, the centre marks the 5^th anniversary of its presence in Vietnam.

As scheduled, in April, the ten best “Olympians in Russian language” students will be given scholarships to study in Russia.

A scientific exhibition and seminar titled “Advanced Scientific Technologies to solve Southeast Asian Environmental Issues” will be held in September with the participation of Russian environmental scientists. It is reported that an education exhibition entitled “Today’s Russian Education” will take place on May 24.

A Russian language-studying-classroom equipped with the latest technologies and facilities and a “Karaoke in Russian language” studio have been put into operation by the centre.
