The first traditional cultural gastronomy festival of ethnic groups in the Central Highlands has been held by Muon Ma Thuot city People’s Committee.
The festival drew the participation of 157 ethnic people from nine ethnic minority groups, including Ede, M/Nong, Lao, Van Kieu, Tay, Thai, Muong and Hoa, from Buon Ma Thuot city and districts in the province.
128 traditional dishes reflected specific cultural features of ethnic groups. These dishes are considered to be specific tourist products that need to be properly exploited.
The festival left a deep impression on tourists and popularized the image of Dak Lak province in particular and the Central Highlands in general. (vov)
