An exhibition on “Vietnam’s traditional trade villages” will be opened to public on Nov 14 at the Agriculture and Rural Marketing and Exhibition Centre at No 2 Hoang Quoc Viet (Hanoi).
The event will draw the participation of more than 200 trade villages who bring with them traditional handicrafts as well as recognized local agro-forestry and seafood products.
With the aim to praise the contribution of trade villages in the cause of national development, images of trade villages in the past and present and typical ones today such as Van Phuc Silk village, Bat Trang Pottery village, Trang Son Wood village will be displayed during the exhibition.
Hanoian trade villages in particular will be highlighted in a separate space together with some well-known towns known for their diverse cultural features.
