National Television Festival opens

The 27th National Television Festival opened last night in Hanoi with the participation of around 700 television works in 11 genres.

Seventy four radio and television stations nationwide joined the festival with various genres including reportage, documentaries, feature films, television game shows, science and education programmes, children’s programmes, art performances and talks.

Works to the festival reflect the country’s achievements in all fields and burning issues to the society.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Head of Party’s Commission for Propaganda To Huy Rua highlighted the importance of television in presenting up to date information to audiences.

Also during the occasion, a seminar discussing about the development of television, and television copyright will also be held.

The national television festival is a chance for television staff to exchange their experiences and to praise outstanding works.

The festival will last until January 13.
