(Cinet)- The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has built a project on improving local film makers’ capacity in turning their creative ideas into sell-out movies.
The Ford Foundation will provide 600,000 USD to hold seven training courses during the four-year project starting from 2007.
Participants will be lectured on script structure, budget and finance, film marketing and advertising, intellectual property and contract drafting and talent development assistance.
Filmmakers will also learn how to tap into potential sources of sponsorship for their films.
Lectures and training activities during the courses will be recorded to be used as teaching materials at art and cinematography universities nationwide.
