Vietnamese arts go to RoK

VietNamNet Bridge – “Good morning Vietnam, Good morning Korea” is the name of the first art exchange between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea, which be held in the RoK from October 23 to November 3, 2007.

With the participation of 11 Vietnamese and 8 Korean artists, the exhibition will bring Korean audiences 49 outstanding artworks of famous painters of Vietnam and RoK.  

Among Vietnamese painters who will take part in this event are Le Thiet Cuong, Pham Luan, Quach Dong Phuong, Thanh Chuong, Le Cong Thanh, and Do Hoang Tuong. Famous Korean painters whose artworks will be displayed at this exhibition are Suk Chul Joo, Oh Won Bae, Choi Yeong Geol, and Shin Huyn Jung.

This is a chance for the two countries to know more about their arts and for artists of the two sides to meet.

The Korean Culture Centre in Hanoi plans to organise many more exchanges in various fields in the coming time.
