The organizers of the two-night London performance of Charming Vietnam, Thanh Nien’s fundraising extravaganza, have arrived in the English capital to prepare for the March 4 and 5 shows.
Charming Vietnam Gala posters are displayed in many places in Hackney, LondonThey traveled there on February 9 during the week-long Tet holiday.
The first tickets of the show in Central Hall Westminster also went on sale that day.
Organizers and per-formers said on the flight to England they recalled warm and happy moments with family members during previous Tet Lunar New Year holidays.
They said the preparations for Charming Vietnam could already be seen when they arrived in London - there were posters advertising the show everywhere especially in Hackney.
The ticket outlet, New World Fashion Group, hadn’t finished printing all the tickets but decided to sell the first print run due to continuous requests from audiences and agents.
An agent in Deptford said, “Many people know Charming Vietnam from the compact disc.
People are looking forward to the live show although it doesn’t fall on a weekend and the price is slightly high.”
