Vietnamese Actor awarded Korean KBS Television’s prize

Vietnamese actor, Artist of Merit Quoc Tri has recently been awarded Special Cup on Korean television series from the KBS Television.

He was among six other artists and a Korean director who received the prize. Quoc Tri is also the first foreign artist to have received a prize from KBS Television.

He acted as Vo Van Loi in the film ‘Season of Lobsters’ by Korean director Lyo Jung which features the relationshhip between Vietnam and the RoK during the period of international economic integration.

Quoc Tri was honoured the Best Actor title at the 12th Vietnam Film Festival for his role in the film ‘Nhung Nguoi Tho Xe’ (The Sawers). He now works for the Vietnam Army’s Drama Troupe.
