Luu Thi Van Anh from northern Hai Phong city was crowned Miss Jewellery Vietnam 2007 after the final round of the contest which took place at the Cultural Friendship Palace in Hanoi on November 14 with the participation of 33 contestants.
The pageant contest was launched in April 2007, attracting 1,500 candidates from across the country. The final round of the contest aimed to honour Vietnamese goldsmiths and a special prize went to craftsman Le Van Lan from the HCM City jewellery company with the work Luot song (surfing). The jury also presented two diamond prizes, two gold prizes and two silver prizes to the best artisans at the contest.
