A group of Vietnamese filmmakers from Television Film Studios (TFS) recently embarked on a trip to the countries along the Himalayas to shoot The Ganges River’s Mystery, a 50-episode documentary on the sacred river of the Hindustani people.
The group, headed by director Du Hoang, whose Mekong Itinerary was recently honoured with Viet Nam Cinema Association’s Golden Kite Award for best documentary, will take audiences down the river, named after the Indian goddess
This new documentary is an attempt by TFS to produce a hit TV series that will grab the attention of a larger audience, just as Railway Itinerary and Amazon Itinerary have done. The documentary filmmakers will shoot more scenic locations and add more details to The Ganges River’s Mystery, making it all the more striking.
