(Cinet)- Yen Bai is located at the northern part of northern –central Vietnam. The location of Yen Bai makes this province plays an important part in the transportation to the Northwestern part of the country, as a transport hubs Yen Bai share the border with Lao Cai , Lai Chau , Son La , Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho. Yen Bai has an advantage to develop tourism for both international and domestic tourists.
Yen Bai borders Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provincies in the Northeast, Phu Tho province in the East, Son La province in the Southeast, Son La province in the West, Lai Chau and Lao Cai provincies in the West. The province covers an area of 6.886,3 square kilometres, and its population was 758.600 peoples (according to statistic in 2011).

Yen Bai has the traditional art forms such as: Pang Loong dance, sinh ca- the unique folk singing of the Cao Lan ethnic group,  ieu singing of  Tay Luc Yen ethnic group, Xoe dance - a unique feature of Thai ethnic group, Tom  - the unique folk singing of  Kho Mu ethnic group.

Yen Bai has many historical and cultural monuments especially Thac Ba, an ecological center, recreation, hiking, exploring the natural forest. Landscapes Yen Bai retain many wild looks, the environment is not polluted very attractive to tourists. Terraced fields of Mu Cang Chai is heritage ranked national heritage. To exploit the potential of terraced fields, under the leadership of the Party, the government, the people of all nationalities in Mu Cang Chai is trying to promote reclamation, intensive cultivation, and embellished preserve, combined with the protection of natural terraces, attached terraces with traditional cultural festivals such as: Happy new rice, bucket apple, hit the pound, shoot it ... Mu Cang Chai is an attractive tourist destination, revenue smoking more and more domestic and foreign tourists to visit.
