The Truong Yen Festival (Dinh-Le Kings Temples Festival) takes place on the 10th of the third lunar month, in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of the Dai Co Viet Kingdom of Vietnam (10th century A.D.), in honour of Dinh and Le Kings.
Phat Diem Cathedral is in Luu Phuong Commune, Phat Diem Town, Kim Son District, 130km south of Hanoi, and 28km southeast of Ninh Binh Town. This is the center of Catholicism in north Vietnam and also a tourist site attracting foreign and domestic visitors.
Thay village (nowadays called Thuy Khe village) is located at the foot of Sai Son mountain in Quoc Oai district, Ha Tay province. Visitors come to this village all year round for several reasons.
There is a Vietnamese saying: "We have the Father's Festival in August, and the Mother's Festival in March." The Mother's Festival is held in the Phu Giay Temple which is dedicated to a female genius, Lieu Hanh.
