From 2-8 June: Effectively deploying activities of culture, sport and tourism

(Cinet)- Activities of culture, sport and tourism were well implemented by MCST’s divisions and localities through out country from 2-8 June. Namely:

Culture

Report Prime Minister on process of deploying project the National History Museum, adjust the Decision Daft of Prime Minister fixing functions, tasks, right and organization of the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism under MCST; Report Vice Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem upon result of fining two web sites socbay.com and zing.vn for infringing copyright and involvement; Report status and results of Decision No. 130/2005/ND-CP on self-control regime, self-responsibility on using workforce and administrative management expense to government offices and  Decision No. 43/2006/ND-CP on self-control regime, self-responsibility,  apparatus of government, workforce and finance of independent units. Contribution documents of ASEAN-EU negotiation join committee meeting; Contributions on memorandum of understanding of establishing a bipartite cooperation join committee between Vietnam government and Brazil; Ideas on budget distribution in 2009 to deploy and maintain and embellish government’s vestiges belonged to ATK area in Tuyen Quang province, agreement of repairing and embellishing relics Tien Hien and Thoai Ngoc Hau churches in Danang.; agreement of repairing and embellishing relic Trung Hai communal house in Quang Ninh; Ideas on project Tran Thanh Tong statue; contributions on designing and displaying Danang museum; agreement of project building Con Dao temple, vestige Con Dao in Ba Ria province, Vung Tau; Ideas on researching and restoring Ancient capital Hoa Lu and ecological area Trang An; Daft ideas on reforming and adding some more clauses of 2003 Land Law; Ideas on cooperation Status draft between Government and  Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee; Direct artistic units to organize successful performances to serve Global Women Summit Conference at the National Conference Center, My Dinh and Melia Hotel; Organize  a summarizing conference on photography management in Danang

Sports and Gymnastics

Set up documents to direct localities to prepare organizing level Gymnastics and Sports congress towards the 6th national Gymnastics and Sports congress in 2010; deploy summarizing the 1st period of implement Decision No. 100/QD-TTg on 10 May 2005 of Prime Minister and propose government approve the 2nd period. Canorously Intensify checking, supervising the security of competitions; Prepare organizing the 9th-2008 Youth national martial arts in Hanoi; organize a training course “Swimming Universalization class, rescue children from drowning in 2008” in Nam Dinh, Can Tho, An Giang; Cooperate with federations, associations, and localities to organize high-score sport competitions; Youth National Chinese Chess Championship in Hanoi, Youth National Wrestling Championship in Bac Ninh, National iron Marbles Championship in Hanoi, National Martial Arts Championship in Hanoi, Asian female football Championship in Hochiminh city;  Asian Female Volleyball Clubs Championship – Cup VTC2008 in Vinh Phuc province; Carry on checking facilities of places which organize the 3rd Al Games in Vietnam namely Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh; Work with Institute of Gymnastics and Sports on draft of Vietnam sports development strategy toward 2015 and plan to 2020. By June 6, 2008 Vietnam sports federation has had 21 athletes meet requirement and standard to join the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games

Tourism

Report Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan upon preparation of 2009 ATF; continuously gather and complete the Draft Guidelines for Decision No. 92/ND-CP. Audit the 2007 finance report of Hai Phong Tourism Polytechnic; appraise the scientific tasks in 2008; report the 3^rd interrogation meeting of ASEAN tourism –transportation leaderships in the Philippines; carry on checking travel agencies which welcome Chinese tourists according to status No. 849 in Quang Ninh and Hanoi; complete project of restoring and developing Chinese, Korean, Japanese markets; work with Hochiminh city Tourism Department on holding ITE, work with Vietnam tourism association.

Besides, localities through out the country also organize many culture, sport and tourism activities such as: continuously speed up the appeal of “Study and follow the moral mirror of Ho Chi Minh precedent”, celebrate the 60^th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh’s patriotic and emulative appeal, organize an Vietnam- Korea music-exchange show, organize 2008 Bac Ha Culture Tourism week in Lao Cai, Hue Festival 2008 with the theme: “Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development”; start building national heroic Quang Trung statue- Quang Trung emperor; organize the 12^th cultural festival of  Thanh Hoa ethnics 2008 in Thanh Hoa; organize the 225^th birthday of emperor Quang Trung in Binh Dinh; open photo exhibition “Australia – Vietnam past and present” in Danang; organize:  Youth Chinese chess Championship in Hanoi;  Asian Female Volleyball Clubs Championship in Vinh Phuc; sport competition between mountainous communes 2008 in Quang Ninh; Ping-pong Championship of all ages in Hung Yen;  provincial Ping-pong competition 2008 in Thai Nguyen and amateur international sea sport competition in Binh Thuan.
