Adjusting festival management

(Cinet)- Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism promulgated Document No.737/BVHTTDL-VHCS sending to Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in some provinces and cities to adjust festival management and organization.

According to Direction No. 41-CT/TW on February 05, 2015 of the Secretariat to enhance leadership fo the Party about festival management and organization; Document No.229/CĐ-TTg on February 12, 2015 of the PM about festival management and organization, the MOCST proposed that manager of the Department comply with some documents of the Party and the State; Document No.556/BVHTTDL-VHCS on February 12, 2015 of the MOCST about implementing Direction No.41-CT/TW to promote leadership of the Party about festival management and organization.
Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed that the Department in some provinces and cities be responsible for taking some opinions from the community to limit some negative aspects at the festival.
People’s Committee in some provinces should ensure to organize the festival according to direction of the Party and the State under the international pledge to protect cultural diversity of the UNESCO.
