MCST: Holding the preliminary press conference in the first half of the year 2008 – it is not necessary to complete the film “ Thai To Ly Cong Uan" at any costs

(Cinet)- In the afternoon of 28.07 at the office of the ministry, Deputy minister Mr. Le Tien Tho presided over the conference and assessed activities of the ministry of culture, sports and tourism in the first half of the year. At the press conference, Deputy minister Mr. Le Tien Tho informed the viewpoints of the ministry of culture, sports and tourism is not necessary to complete the film “ Thai To Ly Cong Uan"( The founder of the dynasty Ly Cong Uan) at any costs

In the role of the governing body of Vietnam film studio – the unit to be appointed to make a historical film on the occasion of memorizing 1000 years of Thang Long, Hanoi  History, the ministry instructed the film studio to build up some measures to make the film. As such, beside the 200 billion project, the studio still has other measures with the expense of about 100 billion VND, 80 Billion and 50 billion combining with socilization.

The press conference assessed the biggest remaining matters in the first half of the year of the branch. The big problem is to sysnchronize the low organization, mechanism, personnel, especially the management mechanism from the provincial level to local level which affects the schedule of the working implementation in 2008  of units., localities and the branch.

Besides, the pressure of the price escalation has made the prices of tourism services have also increased accordingly by 30% compared to 2007, which has bad impacts on the quality, competitiveness, and attraction of Vietnam tourism. ; Some other big international markets such as : China, Japan, South Korea, America, Canada have also decreased. The organization of sports tournaments shows many weaknesses.  Negative situations and violence in sports have not been stopped and punished effectively.
