(Cinet)- Authorised by the President, on 15.7, vice minister of Ministry of culture, sports and tourism Mr. Le Tien Tho awarded the Hochiminh medal for mr. Pham Tuan Khanh – who has made great contributions to building and developing Vietnam culture-information industry.
Mr. Pham Tuan Khanh joinded the army since 1939 and adhered to the communist party of Vietnam in 1940 . he used to be arrested, tortured and imprisoned, however, he still kept his strong will and continuously took part in the army and held many important positions of revolutionary organizations and people’s power. He used to hold some key positions such as: deputy director of genera department of Information(1967-1977); deputy director of vietnam radio and television commission(1977-1980).In each positon, he already made great contributions and devotions to the national liberation and protection as well as in the development of revolutionary culture-information industry.
The award of Hochiminh gold for Mr Pham Tuan Khanh shows the recognition of our party and the state towards the great contributions of cadreds to the country. This is not the pride and honnor of Mr. Pham Tuan Khanh only but it is also the pride of the whole branch of culture, sports and tourism.
