"Nghề làm bánh cuốn Thanh Trì" has become a National Intangible Cultural Heritage

On March 18th, Vinh Hung ward (Hanoi) held a ceremony to announce the decision to inscribe "Thanh Tri rice roll making" into the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. This event marks an important step in the preservation and promotion of the traditional culinary heritage of the Thanh Tri region. The recognition of "Thanh Tri rice roll making" as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage not only contributes to honoring a long-standing culinary tradition of the capital but also creates momentum for the development of craft village tourism, provides sustainable livelihoods for the people, and enriches Hanoi's cultural identity in the process of integration. Cuisine is not just a story of taste, but also a flow of memories and cultural identity nurtured over centuries. This is a concrete step towards realizing Resolution No. 80 of the Party on the development of Vietnamese culture, affirming the vision of making heritage a sustainable economic and tourism resource.
