(Cinet)- Designer Cong Tri will represent Vietnam to take part in the International Fashion Showcase 2013, set to take place from February 15 to 21 as a highlight of the prestigious London Fashion Week (LFW) 2013.

The traditional Vietnamese long dress or ao dai will be represented at a fashion show to be held at the American Museum of Natural History, New York city, on January 25-26.

The Vietnamese Ao Dai has graced the world’s catwalks, acclaimed for its luxuriously elegant appearance as well as its softness and lightness.

Well-known fashion designer--Vo Viet Chung, recently introduced his new collection of Vietnamese ao dai, which was inspired by the movie "Avatar," in HCM City. The designer wanted to convey the message to protect nature but he could not protect the traditional beauty of the ao dai.
