(Cinet)- According to the Asian Record’s Organization (ARO), eight Vietnamese specialties set new Asian record. They reflect typical value of Vietnamese regions.
The eight products nominated to the Asian Book of Records by the Vietnam Book of Records are unique and original gifts from different regions of Vietnam.They are: Banh Dau Xanh Hai Duong, Nhan Sam Ngoc Linh, Que Tra Bong, Che Thai Nguyen, Banh Phong Sua Dua, Ca Phe Buon Me Thuot, Tieu Phu Quoc, and Banh Trang Phoi Suong.
Banh Dau Xanh Hai Duong (Green bean cake of Hai Duong province) is a sweet rectangular cake made with green bean, sugar, fat, grapefruit oil mixed together in reasonable percentage, and has been selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia.
Che Thai Nguyen (Tea of Thai Nguyen province) is yellow colored like honey and due to its uniqueness, it is selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia. The tea is sweet scented and tastes like sweet tart and also is exported to many countries around the world.
Que Tra Bong (Cinnamon of Quang Ngai province) is of strong quality and so is selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia.
Banh Trang Phoi Suong (Rice paper of Tay Ninh province) is used as a snack or in main meals, and has been selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia.
Ca Phe Buon Me Thuot (Buon Me Thuot's coffee of Dak Lak province) is a natural kind of coffee which is unadulterated and is thus selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia.
Banh Phong Sua Dua (Coconut milk crackers of Ben Tre province) is made from coconut, rice powder, sugar, sesame, green bean etc , and is selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia.
Tieu Phu Quoc (Pepper of Kien Giang province) is a unique strong tasting and pungent smelling pepper which has been selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia.
