Xa Tac pagoda is built on socialism capital with an investment of over VND1 billion. It is built of ironwood according to the traditional sculpture architecture of Vietnamese people, and is harmonious with the landscape of Xa Tac Temple and 1368 milestone, creating supernaturally spiritual cultural space.

Some participants took part in a ground breaking ceremony for Xa Tac pagoda in the Xa Tac temple relics and 1368 border milestone, beside Ka Long river side, at the border between Vietnam and China.

At the ceremony, monks and nuns spent time praising for peace at the East Sea. Superior Buddhist monk Thich Thanh Nhieu, Permanent Vice President of the Management Board of the Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam, read a message of peace for the East Sea.

The work is constructed inside the Xa Tac temple relic site in Mong Cai city, near the common borderline between Vietnam and China. The costs for the construction are covered by social funding.

The pagoda is planned to finish in 2015.
