(Cinet) – The ca tru dossier was submitted to Unesco for consideration in the list “intangible cultural heritage should be protected urgently” on 13 March 2009 in accordance with 2003 convention’s new criteria and was completely supplemented and amended at the request of Unesco secretariat on 13 April 2009. The final result will be announced at the 4th session of intangible Cultural Heritage Committee, which will take place in Abulabi on 28 September 2009.

(Cinet) – In parallel with ethnic groups’ cultural activities outdoors at Vietnam ethnic groups’ cultural festival Day, in the morning of 18 April 2009, there was a conference among patriotic nationalities, intellectuals, village patriarchs, village leaders, artisans and scientists. The below was conclusions of Minister of MCST Hoang Tuan Anh at “Dien Hong Conference on culture” after village patriarchs, artisans, patriotic nationalities, intellectuals and scientists had discussed with a view to orienting the yearly open of ethnic groups’ cultural festival Day dated 19 April on spiritual grounds that ethnic groups themselves will honor their cultural characters.
