The 20th Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC 2026) opened on August 27 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), attracting over 520 exhibitors and 260 international buyers from over 40 countries and territories for an estimated 21,000 B2B trade sessions.
Vạn Phúc silk village was recognised as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2023 and as a World Craft Village in 2024. In 2026, Hà Nội recognised Vạn Phúc Silk Weaving Village as a tourist destination.
The event will mark Việt Nam’s National Day on September 2 and promote Mộc Châu as a destination for domestic and international visitors.
