Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan has asked the tourism industry to focus on launching promotion campaigns in an effort to further cash in on the National Year of Tourism.

(Cinet)- On 10 June in Hanoi, Minister of MCST Hoang Tuan Anh awarded a campaign medal for the cause of culture, sports and tourism to Mr. Ahn Tae Sung, the first secretary, Cultural and press attaché́ of Korean embassy in Vietnam.

(Cinet)- From 10 to 21 June 2008, MCST holds a cultivation class on economics management and leadership 2008 in Hanoi for nearly 150 leaders of ministry’s units and departments of Culture, Sport and tourism. The course focuses on special subjects in order to improve students’ leadership and management ability.

(Cinet)- On June 13, Leadership of MCST had a working session with General Department of Sports, Gymnastics and Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). Permanent Deputy Minister, Hoang Danh Thai presided the meeting.

(Cinet)- After the checking trip of the interdisciplinary mission on facilities at some places where some sports in schedule will be organized, some venues are changed unexpectedly. Except the venues for Iron marbles, Chinese chess, Sport and Gymnastics industry will work with localities to go to final conclusion.
