The European Music Festival starts yesterday with the performance of German Electronic music at the Youth Theatre, Hanoi.
UNESCO regrets the decision of a German court to authorize the construction of a bridge likely to lead to the deletion of the cultural landscape of Dresden Elbe Valley (Germany)* from the World Heritage List. The status of the property on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List is due to be reviewed by the World Heritage Committee at its next meeting in July 2008.

Most of the artifacts, including photos and fieldwork notes of the famous French ethnologist Georges Condominas from 1948 to 1949, will be put on display at an exhibition to be held at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology on December 12th.
