The Museum of HCM City hosts Heritage Connection Week, starting from June 27, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Sài Gòn – Gia Định being officially named after President Hồ Chí Minh (July 2, 1976 - 2026).
Organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Australia, the event attracted nearly 200 participants, including ambassadors, high commissioners and members of the diplomatic corps, local officials, international friends, and members of the Vietnamese community living, studying and working in Canberra.
The exhibition is presented as part of a partnership between the French Institute and the French Football Federation (FFF). It runs until July 20 at 15 Thiền Quang Street.
The mass groundbreaking ceremony, organised by the municipal People’s Committee, took place at the historic Nhà Rồng - Khánh Hội area.
