The northern province of Quang Ninh is ramping up efforts to position itself as a leading regional and international tourism centre by 2030 by placing tourism at the forefront of its economic development strategy, according to industry insiders.

Over 21.58 million visitors came to the capital between January and August, a 13.9% increase year-on-year, as tourism was buoyed by celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

The exhibition “80 Years of the Journey of Independence–Freedom–Happiness” is taking place at the National Exhibition and Fair Centre in Ha Noi Taking place from August 28 to September.
