Project Appraisal: Building and conservation of Dam Temple

(Cinet) - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has approved the project on  building and converserving Dam temple in Bac Ninh Province.

Thus, the project will include the following aspects: Preserving grounds, bulkheads and stairs, the key relics (pillar, pedestal tower at the second ground floor corner ); Building new temples with three -door date, corridors (right and left), the Three Jewels, Ancient Shrine, Nguyen Phi Y Lan Temple, The Buddhist monk House - Guest House, Canteen, The toilet.
However, the Ministry also concerned a number of issues:
In terms of conservation: to need to make conservation plan clear for IV ground floor; research, add some design shemes to ensure the protection of artifacts in the best way and harmony with the landscapes; assess carefully the present condistions of the embankment, stone steps and consult all  of archaeological researchers for reinforcement plan in order to preserve the structure and image of the embankment and ancient stone steps.
For the newly constructed temple: the corridor on each floor only needs to build a roof and become a block; research the design of iron railings to match the nature of the work; clarify green design plans in ruins; add the design of stone balustrade.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism comments to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province to direct investors and consultant units to complete documents, then deploy the next step according to the present procedures.
