(MOCST) - On Sep 25, MOCST’s training course on human resources, financial planning and administrative reform 2019 was official kicked off.
Attending the opening ceremony were Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong’s People Committee Phan Van Da as well as hundreds of high-level officials and civil servants from various agencies and units in MOCST.
The aim of this training course is to enhance the capabilities and improve the awareness on the important roles of human resource, financial planning and administrative reform for MOCST's high-level officials and specialized civil servants.
Delivering a speech in the event, Minister Thien underlined that administrative reform has been identified as the breakthrough in the socio-economic development strategy by Vietnam's leading Communist Party and Government.
On the implementation of the Party’s guidelines and the Government’s resolutions on administrative reform, MOCST has always considered administrative reform in general and reforms in organizational structure, financial mechanism and administrative procedures in particular, as central tasks.
Therefore, the administrative reform of MOCST has been achieved numerous positive results. However, Minister Thien also pointed out a number of challenges which have not been solved in the reforming process.
Thien expected that through this training course, key contents of administrative reform will be deployed more widely and actively by MOCST's specialized civil servants.
The training course will end on Sep 26.
